Jeff,

That value has been there for quite some time now. It is a consensus estimate and will be revised many times between now and 1999. IMO the drop to an all time low was due to the fact that we were just testing the lows yesterday and today the entire market was selling off not to mention that the shorts have an agenda against Vivus. They are like a pack of heyenas that have circled and wounded the Vivus rhino. Today they attacked again to finish him off. hopefully they have had their fill and will now move on to the next victim.

jeff...he concensus is for $0.79 eps on Zacks...there is one analyst est out there for $0.33 that is dragging down the adv...

IMO the $0.33 is outdated and not valid....

The high eps est is $1.11

IMO Charlie O of PW has the most informed est at this time and it's $1.00 eps for 1999

At the end of the 3rd qtr I believe the analyst will re-estimate the eps for 1999.....IMO they will upgrade to some value higher than $1.00

Time will tell if I'am right or wrong
