It doesn't really matter. As long as the IMF has plenty of band aids to hand out, you can wreck your car, use the IMF's funds to buy a new one and do it all over again.

I think it's called the "dukes of moral hazard". With Sheriff Roscoe and Boss Hogg handling enforcement, you can pretty much get away with anything that you and your crony capitalist buds endeavor.
