I was thought that AMAT might be able to beat the street one cent ($0.17) based on the taiwanese orders. But it came out as four cents below the estimates ($0.13). The fact that stronger dollars will bring less buyers from Asia in this quarter. Most of semis run out of cash and are getting worse. The deal between MU and TI will keep MU off the buyer list. Next quarter is expected for only $0.05 or lower before the charge. It looks to me that a loss must be seen in next quarter. It is much much worse than the $0.07/sh estimates made by the street.
