Yes Bob! Parity! I really like this piece of code and it's shareware. I wish I could combine the features of it and MS and I would be quite happy. I dig the matrix box.I like that and indicator can be labeled on the study and that a study can be named and that it is live so that when you change it you don't have to go back and redo every &%^$ template as in a MS layout. The bummer is that lines are not live and have to be redrawn each time, files can not be saved, zooming is not as easy and to change from week charts to days is not on the fly.

And this is how I noticed trendlines were off in MS. I have trouble with semi or linear. I had to converging lines in MS and in Parity they were parallel! As far as I can tell parity only does linear.

Try this if you have time:
Using the smart chart AINN draw a trendline ( with snap to price on) from the high on 7/31/95 at 30.375 to 6/25/98 high of 11.75.
Right extend the line. First notice that the "snap to price" is 31.7739 and 12.1438! if you touch the line with the cursor the slope varies from -3 to -1 depending on the zoom level. Now zoom completely out. The price on 6/25/98 penetrates the trend is below the high on 7/31/95.

Then connect the lows on 6/15 and 18 of 1998. Right extend the line. Notice how the low on 7/20 touches, penetrates or hovers above the line when zooming or scrolling.

Sheesh! I can't trust the line. How can one do TA with that kind of a hinderance?

i could go on and on and I do need to bring this up to tech support, but up until now I thought it was only me and now David J is having similar problemos...
