Someone posted this on the YAHOO thread:
___________________________________________________________________

All but four or five of the staff were let go as of this Friday! Doesn't that sound
like a healthy company and one that is about to raise millions?

This company is no closer to the "magic bullet" than they were 4 years ago and
millions spent in the chase of the dogs tail.

I was in Salt Lake yesterday and dropped by to see an old friend (he is the head
ozone engeneer) Ben Wofford... they let him go too! Mr. Stoddard was not man
enough himself to do the dirty deed! He was out of town!

I'd suggest that you Sell what you have in this dog of a stock because in the next
week it may be worth pennies! I also learned that in bio, three of their best
chemists have moved on! Hmmmmmmmm!

I have never entered any comments on this service and it is time that someone
spoke up to tell what is really happening or happened at that "shell" of a
company. What a joke!

I'm in at 1 7/8... so I'm hurting, too.
I don't believe most of the bad news that some nay-sayers are posting. What reasons they have for doing so....I don't know. But they've been here, and have posted similar information before. I'm continuing to hang in.
As for Melinda leaving...she was NOT involved in P&D type of operation. She was part-time to begin with, and told everyone that. In fact, I emailed her several times over the past 6 months, and she mentioned many times that her tenure was coming to an end. There was no duplicity in her posts, at all. Unless, of course, we've all been fooled. That has been known to happen on SI.
I don't know if OZON has let anyone go. It may be that they have. But I don't think that it is necessarily a hugely negative situation. I worked for UVN while they let large numbers of people go. In the process, the stock price tripled. That isn't to say OZON will triple soon (I hope it will!), but it's a reminder to let people know that downsizing isn't always a bad thing.
