Beg to differ, Have you tried to get a room recently, other than Vagas - rooms are jammed full. all your info is correct.
Especially low cost Days Inn, etc - stayed in low cost 80.00 in San Diego last week, 3 o'clock, we got last room, and as we checked in they turned away 4 families. CD bread and butter.
