Just curious what the "I don't care what the hell they do as long as the economy is strong" crowd thinks about the Clinton administration on deck batter's relentless demagogic effort to scare us into destroying our economy ( and national sovereignty ) with his global warming delusions:

Hot air II

The National Anxiety Center, a clearinghouse for information about scare campaigns, accused Vice President Al Gore on Monday of being the point man for the biggest hoax of this century."

"Vice President Gore is lying to Americans when he says that global warming is occurring, using the recent heat wave as proof," said Alan Caruba, founder of the center.

"Gore knows, as does every meteorologist in America and worldwide, that, in this century, the Earth has only warmed 1 degree Fahrenheit and that warming cycle ended in the 1940s."

Maybe if the electorate got some brains and got a clue that character DOES matter, then maybe we'd elect some decent people. NOne the less, you are right that parents need to be the guiding light for their childred and if you want to take a clue from the media, not many parents are doing such a great job these days. Looks like the 60's r coming back to bite us in the rear.

"Maybe if we spend more time being better parents and friends (and less time undermining our president because he likes sex -- alot) WE'D ALL BE IN BETTER SHAPE...

Better parents? This is another in a long line of Don't do what the president does. We, as the people, are supposed to act in a mature, responsible manner in being good parents. The president, on the other hand, can act as an adolescent sexual deviant, and according to shills like you, it's nobodys business. Apparently, you believe in good parenting skills. It's too bad you don't hold your president to any standards. This is a double standard. Maybe with your help, he could be appointed Dictator. I'm sure he could be a better dictator than a parent. Chelsea has to be extremely embarrassed by all of his shenanigans.

As far as running the country, he has had nothing to do with the economy. He inherited it.

I also really believe that your are not a democrat. Ha Ha.

Most people who use AOL have their e-mail restricted to known correspondents due to preponderence of porn mail and solicitation mail. Correspondents are added as necessary to the mail controls.

We'll just have to take your "word" that the memo was factual. Nice how CLST tanked just after the memo due to bookkeeping irregularities. There is no way anyone on the threads can verify whether the memo is factual unless (a) they have the same brokerage and (b) the brokerage is factual in its observations.

As for so-called undermining the President, he deserves the blame for letting this issue getting out of control. A series of lies just made the situation worse. It's the same behavior he's exhibited in the past. He didn't see fit to honestly inform the people as the health care debate. Contrary to laws and regulations, he kept his so-called Health Care task force closed from open meetings as required and tried to circumvent requirements for reporting. In short, he tried to dump the European style health care system on the US. I have no interest in paying 25-30% of my income to these various government welfare schemes.

Clinton should be held accountable for the FBI Files scandal, the Whitewater scandal, the various money for influence scandals in the Commerce Dept, Indian casinos, Interior dept, etc. The list goes on and on with the Clinton sleaze factor. I have no idea at this point how well Clinton may have covered up these other scandals in order to escape impeachment. He just may have gotten caught trying to cover up for the smallest of his scandals.

My earlier point stands. He should be held to the same standard as the following:

1) black drill seargants at Aberdeen proving grounds got fired for the same activities.

2) black general forced out in confirmation hearings for top military position. He was also cited for witness tampering.

3) white female pilot got fired for the same activities.

Supporting Clinton is not equated with supporting this country any more than supporting Nixon was.
