<OT> Mike, I am a processware bear at this point. I think we are seeing consolidation in the intranet for application software, with the primary vendors being Sap, Psft and Siebel. A few years ago there used to be a lot of best of breed apps in house but as the mkt has evolved there is much less of that. I think thats why Crossworlds has a small customer list. Sure there are cases where processware would be useful, such as the current SCM environment, but eventually these apps are provided by the ERPs and that is the preferable solution for most customers. The interim need for processware while the customer waits for Sap to provide the product will not sustain Crossworlds high valuation. Crossworlds has great mktg though.

Otoh, extranet transaction processware sounds great to me (which is not what Crossworlds is doing). That would allow a customer to outsource their entire AP dept, and yet still see everything at a transaction level within their ERP (as if that transaction occurred in house). Theres a company called Crossroute that is attempting this, I believe - it might be too arduous a task however. Thats why I was interested in this Fortune article. It sounds like the point there was that this environment would somehow displace the ERPs - thats not my interpretation of it, thats for sure.

BTW I really cant remember what Katrina Garnett looked like. I was only a programmer in R&D at the time, I just remember her name.
