<< it wasn't nice of you to say that we who post at the yahoo board are all smoking upholstry. . . . BTW, IMHO, a loyal following is very good for a company.>>

Uh oh! The misquote alarm is ringing! I never said "all." I said 90%. There are some thoughtful posts among the Yahoos. And I didn't say "are. . . smoking." I said that the style and tone suggests that they're smoking etc., etc. And I didn't generically throw in all upholstery. I specified couch upholstery. There's a big difference in effect between smoking couch upholstery, and, say, ottoman upholstery with its redolence of the outdoors.

Re: a loyal following, I'd go a step farther and say that a loyal following characterized by thoughtfully skeptical due diligence is accretive to the stock price. Blinkered cheerleading can draw in relative novices, but experienced investors typically demand more, and they can usually make more substantive contributions to boards. A loyal following of investors who've assessed the potential pitfalls of owning a stock and still choose to support it is a lot more meaningful to me than the "Buy now!" frenzies of emotion-driven speculators.

New topic: Yesterday does appear to have been a nice buying opportunity and I'm glad I kept some powder dry for the occasion. I hope others did the same.
