08:10 ET: Early indications are for a decent bounce...S&P futures are trading 6 points above fair value...suggests a Dow open of +50...overseas, the dollar fell significantly to yen 145.12 from 147.24 against the yen on comments from the Japanese officials that currency intervention might be needed...Japanese stock index was down 0.2%, but other Asian markets were stronger (Hong Kong +1.2%), and European markets are up with London about +0.5% and Germany +2%..Russia +1%. cme.com DD
