A few reasons why Japan is going down:

1. The new Post Minister says she won't support the market as was done in the past - why do you think it always bounced off 15000?

2. The government plans to sell NTT shares to help fund the tax cuts.

3. P/Es are still very high.

4. When the Nikkei goes below 14000 more banks will go bust. The financials will be driving the fundamentals as in "Alchemy of Finance" (by George Soros).
