RUMOR GRAPEVINE
Here we go again! As the bears strangle Wall St., the rumors seem to get choked!
However, there were several rumors circulating the high tech trading rooms that we will
pass along to you. Shares of Intel Corp. (INTC) $84 9/16 down 2 1/16, were being
accumulated all day, as traders heard rumors of a possible Pentiumn chip shortage, due
to high demand..

I don't believe MRVC makes NICs - they make routers and switches and the like which Intel provate labels.

The new NICs are most likely made by Intel and.or Compaq - using some of the newer Intel LAN chips such as 82558 - and possibly the 82559 - devices.

They may possibly include Intel's i960RD chip as well - but that is my speculation.
