Russia cannot afford bad publicity that will scare away foreign investment. The IMF will stop lending them money if investors are not protected. Frivellous lawsuits cannot be tolerated if they want to be a serious nation.
In addition, Friedland has very powerfull connections, and im sure
he will not let his investment get stolen.
So current assets (not including the Russia properties) amount to
.67 C$ per share, and the stock is trading at less than half that.
Hmmmmm.....
