Maybe we should Post the ones we think are going to be exciting each day - a Heads up etc. I think we may see some action on NIR today - Maybe BSX after that amzing sell out by Gordon. CYP was interesting yesterday and I took a little of that action.

And anywhere where Brink might be unloading unusual volumes of stock and over selling it like they did on CYP yesterday. I am itching but can only play this morning as I am out this afternoon so I will likley stay clear

Hi Kevin. The worst seems to be on the V.S.E. where I've had to wait up to 1 1/2 hours for "confirmation" of a trade that I saw go
through. I spoke to Greenline about this, and they suggested that it wasn't a problem at their end.

Thats the same story I get from Action Direct. Its like they don't have a trader on the floor and it just goes to anybody!

Late day strength with an overnight hold? Ya, I've done that. I'm trying not to though. There's something nice about being flat at the end of the day. No bad overnight surprises...which I've had before. In fact, some of them accounted for my worst losses. Volume/price increasing on rumour/pending release, and then get slammed on bad news overnight.

I actually still do this but with mid-cap and large cap only. I only do it on the basis of good news and continued momentum into late day trading. I have only got stung once on it so far(lucky) thats when Asian Contasion hit! I, like you, prefer a clean sheet by 3:00PM

I've been spending a lot of time lately on intraday charting and have really started to become a fan of it. Using a combination of a simple moving average in combination with MACD. Then factor in volume, the story, and depth and a few other things.

I am starting to do the same. I was going into information overload and "not pulling the trigger". I am now "designing" a new computer system for daytrading. I intend to have

Two 17 inch monitors
One 15 inch monitor
Pentium II 350/400

Once I get things up and running.....November, I'll let the thread know how things are going. Any suggestions for configuration and tools maybe a worthwhile discussion in itself!! All I know is I am tired of "flicking" between windows.....as age progresses my memory digresses....I prefer to be able to see all the data at one time!!
