Hewlett-Packard coverage initiated by CS First Boston (http://biz.yahoo.com/c/98/08/12/u.html#i)

Their initial recommendation is "buy". I hope we see many more of these as we get past last quarter's disappointment and begin looking to the future. HP's fundamentals continue to look strong (http://www.wsrn.com/home/dataset/quicksource.html?symbol=HWP&page=2).

Congratulations on buying in at the 49 range, Neil. I re-entered one day earlier at 51, and felt it was a bargain. I don't see a lot of downside risk, maybe mid 40s, and with a few quarters of meeting expectations, to which I am sure HP's Oval Office is committed, and a reasonable market, we should be back in the mid 60s.

I know I shouldn't get attached to a stock, but it feels good to have this solid performer back in my portfolio <g>.
