**************** OT ***************

Sure is a lot of name calling, psuedo-threats, word twisting, etc., going on here. To each their own and all feel free to continue with the personal attacks as far as I'm concerned (save the "I don't need your permission ... " responses. Of course you don't.) Personally, it's a waste of my time to participate in a thread that's a bunch of flames; each will have to draw their own conclusion.

Achh so.... as mein Uncle Gonzo says me:

You do as you vill, und I vill do as I vill.

Everyone else may think I'm a big as5ho!e and that's your right. And if you want to let what was at one time a pretty good thread exchanging ideas and news on LU evolve into a flame thread, be my guests (again, please save the bandwidth and storage required for the usual "I don't need your permission to ... . ." posts. Of course you don't.).

Vell, you have mein permission to be a dummkopf.....

Uncle Gonzo says me:

"Life is but a box of Chocolates..... you nefer knows vot you are gonna get next"......

Zen I find me vondering:

Und to zis day I keep hoping, und vaiting fr ze big, zick, juicy, und fat cherry und brandy filled bon-bon....

Howefer, I keep getting ze ones cofered mit NUTS !!!!

HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA......

Z.

Sure sign of correction/consolidation period.

I think Lucent is one of the finest companies on the planet, and
couldn't be better positioned as far as demand for their goods and
services.

However, I think LU is dead in the water until the question of their
"big acquisition" is answered.
