Sonki, >>>"EARTH-QUAKE ! i hope intel fabs stay up !(just a little one)"

You hope just a little intel fab stays up, or it was just a little earthquake? I know what you mean. ;-)

I forgot to answer you about Europe. No, I currently have no position there in my 401K. I need to take a closer look, though.

AMAT had a screwy earnings report. They don't know when things will get better, no predictions (Asia). They're still up at 8:46 PDT. They are one of those companies that everyone wants to own, so they get forgiven a lot more. Cramer on CNBC this a.m. was all over them, however. He said he's into Intel and Compaq because they have a plan and see the future. AMAT CEO Morgan, he said, should get rid of the rose colored glasses he had on last year, and the black ones he has on now. I guess we're holding onto AMAT anyhow because everyone seems to want to own them.

Tony

ps, I was driving up Bowers Ave. when the "earthquake" hit, felt nothing. Of course, car shocks and tires tend to do that.
