It looks like some buying activity came into the market. Many stocks that I have checked are at an important resistance. DELL is not doing well so far this morning considering the move up both by DJIA and NASDAQ. Stocks like AOL, CSCO, AMZN, and others are doing well. Many blue chips I checked are also at resistance. GE looks to be already beyond important resistance which will turn into support.

In this market, I am not surprised the surge in buying is delayed. Remember, we have been and still are in a different market. And markets do not "flip" back to their old more robust character overnight. This market will tend to retest support before continuing up. Follow through by the market is important right now. The NASDAQ did not follow the DJIA before the close yesterday, but it looks to be doing well today which is an important event.

I see I made some basic mistakes yesterday in my observations of the market. For instance thinking repeated tests of a resistance during the day means the price will likely not break through. These silly mistakes of mine also have been showing up in my project work. I think I may need a break! Cancun is looking good to me right now!
