<< crushing is not the bottleneck >> Thanks, that answers my confusion about how they could merrily continue to make resin shipments while the ball mill was down! But I'd like to keep my question and its discussion about collaboration open. Some of the insiders and principals of these little companies do read these discussions and, because they can never think of everything, imho can actually obtain important ideas and information thereby. At the very least, they can "take the stockholder's pulse" on various issues and chose to address them if they have merit. Remember, we are owners, and
as such we not only have the right to offer our opinions, but even the responsibility to speak up and be counted. I am reminded of the (true)
story I heard years ago on the radio: a too-tall truck rammed into an underpass and got stuck and could not be budged an inch. The state police, the trucking personnel and the towing guys stood around scratching their heads wondering what to do next. A 12-year-old girl climbed out of her waiting family car, wandered over to the underpass and asked, "Why don't you guys let some of the air out of the tires so that the truck drops down a bit?". You can imagine the rest of the story! The idea was too good to ignore! My point is that everyone can contribute, whether or not they are an "expert" - in fact often the more naive, the more unprejudiced and consequently more uncluttered with technical baggage impeding creative thinking. So, where were we in this collaboration topic......sw
