I can't understand why anyone has bought a share since.

Greed. Dipsters that are convinced the climb to the stars will resume. Perhaps they missed out on the move to the 140s and don't want to miss out on the next big run which they are sure will take it to 200 and another split. If they can't understand the total lack of fundamentals, do you expect them to understand the finer points of TA?

Hello RJH:
Still, this run-up requires quite a bit of buying. I can understand why people bought the stock when it was a momentum vehicle. However, that momentum was clearly over the first time it started dropping from ~140. I can't understand why anyone has bought a share since.

Two thoughts:
----there is a lot of poorly managed money sloshing around in the market
-----in the absence of solid direction, it seems to take around three rounds at something before the public at large catches on for the most part. This would be advance #2 on lowered volume compared to the initial high volume uppity-up run because it goes up....

The short at 130-140 makes sense. And maybe a cover at 90 to 120 would make sense consistent with this view. Then another short again in the 120+ range and a partial cover at 100 or lower--taking a 'free' position with a partial cover then may be a fair approach. When real money comes out of the market for fundamental reasons, then the footings of a slide will be set in concrete, me thinks, so me thinks...
Best regards,
m
