She probably got as many fresh options

True - but she'll also know that her selling $3m of stock will send a message to the market. It is worth remembering that a really high price doesn't help the acquisition strategy; how would you place a value on your company if you looked at the acquirer and could only see a downside to the price. If I was her I'd want to bring this one down a bit.

TA Stock Alert!

Key technical indicators are pointing to an end of the current technical rebound. A resistance level has been met and pressure from new interest in AMZN due to the tie-in with GeoCities' IPO should start diminishing today. I think the top of the rally has likely been seen but a momentary spurt up is still possible. Now is a good time to sell calls or sell short. I expect a retreat by the end of the day.
