To All, I need your help!!

I've had several great suggestions regarding the FNTN InvestorNet site (http://home.swbell.net/sprue). Most of them refer to the use of a left hand navigation vs top navigation bar, and the ease of use for first time users.

It seems the original design was easier for first time users to navigate and the original labels (eg, "Home", "Site History", etc) were more helpful then the new labels. So I need to modify the site to make it easier to use for newcomers.

However, I need to balance the following considerations in the site design (in order of importance):

(1) Ease of use (for oldtimers and newcomers)

(2) Efficient use of space

(3) Professional appearance (eye-catching, but not gaudy)

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU:

First I'd like any suggestions you have for the navigation portion of the web page (ie, the blue bar at the top)

(1) Should we keep it at the top or move it to the side?
(2) What titles are most useful?
(3) What other topics should be on the top bar?
(4) How should I group the topics?

Second, if you have any other suggestions for any aspect of the web site, I'd appreciate them.

Finally, I'll reiterate that I cannot update the web site until I get a new copy of PageMill. I'll do that today sometime. I appologize for the innacurrate prices on the home page.

Thanks for all the great suggestions.

Kevin,

PS: This note is NOT an attempt by me to beg compliments or to get people to say "Kevin, if people don't like the site they can build one themselves" I SINCERELY appreciate the suggestions, ESPECIALLY suggestions for improvement -- in no way do I take offense at constructive criticism.
