Good post, Jim. Perhaps knowing that the market was going to open up big today, Apple decided to save the G3 refresh for tomorrow. Just a bit of fun speculation. - A new "hold" is a buy signal to a firm's preferred customers ; Great point. - AAPL has a "reporting" option to "gross or net" iMAC "sales" , but its marketing objective is a "unit" market-share strategy ; Agree. Helps make the Sept. number come out good but not too good, if you know what I mean. Marc
