AOL: CNN Fortune 'Stock of the Week,' target $150
Just watched this program a few minutes ago and was delighted to see that AOL received this designation. Two major brokerage firms (Solamon,Smith was one I recall) gave their reasons for AOL's selection: increasing numbers of of subscribers (the figure 12 million sticks in my mind) and a rapidly increasing income stream from advertising. I promptly cancelled my stop order at 100, which would have given me %100 per cent profit. I only wish I'd sold before Greenspan so I could bought even more at the current level. I'm going to ride the wild Asian-driven roller coaster now. Yeehaa!
