Phil, I'm not sure why you're flaming Jon. His comments were definitely legitimate, if poorly backed up with evidence.

You are a typical bonehead. Your argument point is no base at all. Based on your attitude, you even can fight with professors in the systems engineering/operations research regarding why they have forecasting modeling and simulation. Apparently all it takes is a typical bonehead to know from your sometimes thrice daily doses of hype that your opinion has the least basis in objective reality of anyone else on the board. I've been reading Internet stock boards long enough to have learned that the degree to which you should respect a posters opinion is inversely proportional to the amount of hype they spew. And i'm not gonna let the fact that i'm long AAPL affect that assessment of you. But lets not talk about you or me, lets talk about the stupid things you say. Why don't you start by trying to defend your "forecasting model" from my criticism and the criticism of others on board. In my opinion, for you to even suggest you are using some type of model is laughably dishonest. I'm sure the details of the model will be far to complex for you to reveal here, but that we can be certain the model has proven to be sound in the past. Isn't that right phil? Jon Bird
