Billy,

Another research project by NASA that could be used to provide communications services has been in the TV news recently - the solar powered "wing" which could stay up forever. An amazing looking device - just a long wide wing with about 8 electrically powered prop engines.

Cost to provide global communications services will continue to drop. Now if only CUBE will start selling at least 1 chip for every man woman and child on the planet...

Ian.

>Flight tests commence for airborne LMDS service

Amazing idea Billy...sounds like lots of jobs for second rate pilots though...they just go up and come down never seeking a goal or destination.

some DBS news this Friday from the LOSER in the DTH battle.

One of my friends tells me they have something like 1 cancelation for every 2 new dishes they put in the ground. Must be that funny looking elipitical dish?
