Tulvio, there is ALWAYS risk. The closest thing to risk-free is T-bills. Commodities, on the other hand, are about the riskiest investment you can find. You may feel in your heart of hearts that oil prices will go up, and perhaps they will, but to say there is "virtually no risk" is like wearing blinders.
