jhild, you are wrong again...

The US$1000-US$2000 is all it will cost to set up the IBC with a brokerage account... There are companies set up all around the world to do this. It is much easier than setting up a company here, primarily due to the amazing amount of buracracy we have.

There is plenty of information available out there if you or anyone else is interested. For a change, find it yourself.

The reason I started this discussion was to point out that Janice was wrong when she said it was impossible for US citizens to short OTC BB stocks...

As I recall, that point seems to be her main defense as to why she wouldn't or couldn't short OTC BB stocks. I would be curious to know if shorting US OTC BB stocks is legal in Italy.

jhild, the biggest problem is finding shares to borrow. They are seldom available for BB's.

Also, if you are interested, check with a U.S. broker that is owned by a Canadian firm.

jhild, this is why I have such an issue with everything you say...

That seems pretty complicated. While the minimum account size may be 1000 to 2000 to start, getting a lawyer to do all the necessary work would cost a bit more it seems.

You take a statement about something you obviously know nothing about and then start assuming (ass-u-me) everything negative. First, you misread everything I said, then you attempt to assume something you obviously do not know...

Is this how you compose every statement and question you post?

~Scott,
again seeing first hand how information and posts can be twisted and contorted...
