PeakSoft (OTC) Bulletin Board Status Update; Company has responded to SEC comments on its 20-F and submitted the information via EDGAR for review by the SEC.

BELLINGHAM, WASHINGTON--PeakSoft Corporation (ASE:PKT;
OTC-BB:PEAFF-pending), a pioneer in the development of Internet
research and communication technology, today announced it has
responded to the comments issued by the U.S. Securities and
Exchange Commission (SEC) after the agency's review of PeakSoft's
filing of the Form 20-F.

On March 13, 1998, the National Association of Securities Dealers
(NASD) had originally cleared PeakSoft's submission pursuant to
NASD Rule 6740 and Rule 15c2-11. PeakSoft was then approved to
trade on the OTC-BB on March 18, 1998 under the symbol PEAFF. On
April 17, 1998 the company's listing was halted as a result of new
requirements of the OTC-BB to meet more stringent reporting
standards instituted by the SEC effective April 1, 1998.

As previously announced on April 20, 1998, PeakSoft had filed a
Form 20-F to register as a fully reporting company under Section
12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

These actions further demonstrate the company's desire to meet the
stringent full-disclosure requirements of U.S. securities laws and
SEC regulations.

"We are aware of how important getting our listing re-activated is
to our shareholders, and are glad to have made progress with the
SEC," stated Doug Foster, president and CEO of PeakSoft.
