re:semi equipment stocks, I thought a lot about dumping them all (exceptUTEK of course) on the opening this morning after hearing that dismal conference call by AMAT last night and wait till there's some idea of where the bottom will be. So far it looks like it might have been a good idea but since I'm not really interested in trading them I decided to let inertia win and hold them. This looks like it may be a long tunnel and hope I don't give back all my profits while a gloomy outlook persists. We really need one of the biggies to say a pick up will start in 1999. something AMAT clearly could not do.
