Even if it's true, why didn't the company make an announcement or at least return my call? Also, some deadlines do not change e.g. did you ever hear of the Y2K problem or government oil and gas lease sales? In some businesses, you either meet deadlines or perish. I'm concerned that TSIG might perish.
