welcome. not something that i follow or trade since it is not a NASDAQ stock. it really woke up today around 2:00. finished strong too. the system i trade with uses an ECN so i can compete with MM's. this is what i mostly stick too. i can buy stocks before and after market close also. maybe others may have some info to offer? SR

NEW YORK, Aug 12 (Reuters) - The following stocks were
among the top movers in late afternoon trading on Wednesday:

CENDANT CORP UP 2-1/8 AT 16-1/4
Shares moved up nearly 15 percent after the company
reported the sale of its Hebdo Mag International unit for about
7 million shares of Cendant stock and $410 million in cash.
This will add a $250 million net gain to 1999 earnings and
$0.01 per share.

INFOSEEK UP 4-7/16 AT 28-1/16
Shares were up nearly 19 percent after the company
announced the purchase of Quando Inc., a publisher of online
shopping guides, in a deal valued at about $17 million.

ADVANCED FIBRE COMMUNICATIONS INC OFF 3-3/8 AT
13-5/16
Shares dropped about 21 percent after word got out that the
company might report third quarter earnings below Wall Street
expectations, according to an analyst at Hambrecht & Quist.

NORTHFIELD LABORATORIES DOWN 2-3/4 AT 13-3/4
Shares dropped almost 17 percent after the Food and Drug
Administration told the company to increase its patient number
in its Phase III trials of its blood substitute, PolyHeme.
This will delay the trial completion.
