I do not dispute the point that a down tick in stock price is caused by heavy selling pressure.(meaning that more people want to sell at a certain price then buy at that same price.....but if you want to argue the point that for every seller there is not a buyer...you are the the one who needs trading 101...and further more...level II will give you the inside bid ask..."indicated # of shares the mm is willing to buy or sell at a certain point.....it will NOT tell you whether a stock is being bought or sold....it is being bought and sold on EVERY TRADE....!!..............and which license do you have???

and further more.....a ratio of buys to sells??? please point me in the proper direction?? you mean advance decline line???? I know of NO such ratio nor where to find such a ratio.....you can solve this whole dispute by showing me a ratio of buys to sells???? and until you do.......hold your breath.......

Yes, that is true, and I even hear on occasion that strong buying pressure has actually caused a stock price to rise. However, the power to manipulate the bid/ask still resides with those who also take the risk of filling investor buy and sell orders--the MMs.

Definitely not trying to defend the MMs, but those who have the gold make the rules because they also can be the ones who front the cost to mine that gold.
