the 8577.2 level is what I call a neutral zone. It is the half way point between the magnets located at 7756.4 and 9397.9. If the Dow fails to get back to this level the next step down is 8372 which is found by dividing the area between the two magnets 7756.4 and 9397.9 into eighths. I normally only divide the area between magnets into quarters at the most but, in this case the magnets are much too far from one another so I have to use eighths.

The reason it needs to at least touch 8577.2 tomorrow is that in my magnet studies I have found that if a magnet fails to be touched for two days it is likely the next magnet down has a hold of the stock/index.

The 8552 was a area derived from a magnet uptrend line. These are different than the actual magnets in that they have a slope. Normal magnets are simply horizontal resistance.
