Was riding around in the mountains today and I mean in the mountains (over the hills, thru woods, etc.) 2 thoughts came out of the blue to me thinking of FNTN. # 1. TO ALL who were here at least a month ago. Remember the misgivings and immediate apologies of Ms. Marx. Do we remember why offense was taken by Ms. Marx on the couple of days were words were free flowing and compliments were everywhere? Yes, it was about the lack of recognition she was receiving when people were referring to the powers that be in the company. WHICH has led me to ask myself a few intuitive questions. 1. What does Ms. Marx do? Answer: She is in charge of SALES!!!!!! Per the overview on company web page. Maura Marx, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Financial Intranet (FNTN), directs all of the company's sales and marketing operations to the financial community. Before joining FNTN, Marx served in the sales and leasing department of a major Manhattan commercial real estate firm, where her responsibilities centered on servicing and expanding the firm's client base of foreign banking institutions. From 1990 to 1994, Marx was based in Vienna, Austria. She directed the sales & marketing of Warner Bros. Austria Film Gesmbh, overseeing budgeting and distribution of Warner films throughout Austria. She was also responsible for organizing publicity events and press junkets to promote Warner Films and sale of Warner's retail goods. Prior to that, she served as Assistant Director of European Development for the Guggenheim Museum Salzburg Advisory Board, where her responsibilities included fundraising, procurement of corporate sponsors and Board, government and public relations supporting a project to build a Guggenheim Museum in Salzburg. Next question for each of us to ask ourselves....Would a person who was not ready/willing/able to deliver in their given area of expertise either care or insinuate that proper credit was NOT being given to them if they were not ready to show that they were deserving??? I only ask the above question because it became clear in my mind that nobody would make a fuss if they couldn't produce. What can she produce. Yes SALES!!! Can't wait to see them Ms. Marx. While Michael may be the one who answers the phones,talks to us investors, and is in charge of day to day operations, Kevin our mutual friend, Barry the founder, Mr. Pauls the techie, Ms. Marx will be bringing home the bacon. Can't wait to see the first contract. # 2. Second thought today. Getting to the top of the mountain involves a lot of curves, ups, downs, at times I forgot I was on the way UP because it just looked like a bunch of woods to me. Hard to see the top of the mountain in the middle of the woods....BUT oh my..... the view from the top says it all. Best to all: jpbp
