The call to sand did not produce anything special as was expected but there were more people on than before which is a good sign. Arthur was closed mouth as always but he has no choice in the matter. ou just can't talk about potential sales without a lot of risk. I did get the feeling that he is concerned about the value of the stock, first time I have felt that.
Arthur was happily surprised by the good reviews both by Inman and the Meta Group. Both are independent and well respected sources. He said there has been a significant increase of inquiries on the web page since then, many from OEMs. They ran out of disks at the show, didn't say how many but they are produced in batches of 1000 or 5000. Doesn't know what the final year will report but wouldn't be surprised if a loss. Was surprised to see a small profit last qtr. Was in a bit of a rush because he said he had about 20 people waiting to go to a celebration party. Something good I hope.
My opinion is that he alluded to being contacted by some " big " people and that there were possibilities in the works. Said he would talk again in 6-8 weeks unless something major happened. I take that statement as indicating that that is a possibility. They have hired @10 new people and filled an important position shown on the web page. I am not aware of what it is. Again he confirmed the 3-6 morth time frame for sales and integrating partners and still indicates that the second qtr will be when things start coming together. All WIN versions are available. I think Wyle will be the big mover for them .
While nothing special-this call was prompted by investors, I got the feeling that things are moving right along. They are up to their ears in alligators and would not need all these people if things were not popping. Again the time frames are long in this business. Arthur said he doesn't want to sell more stock which means he has been approached, but would if there were a good reason. My feeling on the conversation were that things are going well for the company but that we will not see significant financials til th second qtr. He has said this all along. I also got the feeling that there is a lot of interest building here in all respects. Aside from the crap ass market in which Sand has held pretty well I think we will see a slow increase in stock volume as new people become aware of the potentials here. That will be the start of the ongoing movement of the stock. There is too much talk going on not to cause some stock interest. While many will wait for the financial showings, there will be a growing interest as more people get exposed that the financials are just around the corner.

let, I was on the list and couldn't get through. I tried until 4:15 and kept getting a busy signal. I am very disappointed that they didn't have enough lines available to accommodate us. I sent Diane an e-mail explaining my dilemma and asked for a phone number where we might at least listen to the recorded conference call. This was from work, so I don't know if she has responded yet. If she has, I will post the number tomorrow.

Meanwhile, someone bought 2000 shares at $7.00 just before the close. I saw another 1000 shares traded at the same price about an hour earlier. Volume was up today along with the price, so that might be an indicator of positive news coming our way. Then again, all the news of late has been positive, hasn't it? We'll see.

BTW, thanks for trying to get into the CC. You and Jack, both, really help keep up the interest in this company.

If there are any lurkers (not fond of that word) out there who are not SI members but were able to get into the conference call, please e-mail me the results and I will post your comments here. hammonp@interoz.com

Anxiously awaiting news,

Paul
