Bill, what you say is correct in some respects, but in this situation there is no reduction of shares in the float...as there would be in a buy back. However, that isn't as important as why the cancelation. XYBR has a strong incentive to maintain it's share price at or above these levels for other reasons also. Or...there is always the possibility they are cash sufficient for now, and choose to hold the shares while they appreciate. None the less, I agree that the overall effect is good all around. :o)
