Paunch, Looking at potential deep pockets there is only BD. The State will no doubt be able to never pay a penny.
What crime did BD commit?
Some law firms take low level "nuisance" class actions with the intention of a few writs and a fast settle for $50,000 and they take 35-50% of what they get.
Since the losses of the class are in the hundreds of millions it is attractive on the face of it, but I doubt they can hang any significant culpability on BD. Have we ever seen the terms of engagement of BD?
If they cannot find a source of money in BD, Coggins or the state the SH will have to fund the clas action with up front money. When that happns it usually means a no hoper.
the real crooks will have their money far offshore via several funds transfers.
