Direct from the Yahoo description of a form 144:

Form 144 filings are indicated by ''Planned Sale''. Form 144s must be filed as notice of the proposed sale of restricted securities.
An insider may file a Form 144 and not actually complete the sale. If the sale was completed, the insider should have filed a Form 4, indicating the transaction was completed.

The Form 144 must be filed prior to, or on the approximate date, of sale. When searching for Form 144s, keep the following considerations in mind:

If the seller does not sell all the stock covered by the form within 90 days after the filing, the filing process must be repeated before the commencement of further sales, except in cases where the passage of time has extended the seller's holding period.

--------

The listings are from June/July, so it is hardly new news, but they still have time before the 144 expires. A couple of questions:

1. It says they "should" have filed a form 4 if they sold. Does anybody know if there is a penalty if they don't??

2. How long do they have between selling the stock and submitting a form 4??

--------
M Power: I am aware of how the bid/ask works, my point was that they create artifically high spreads, such as earlier today: bid .56 ask 7/8. By my calculations, the spread was more than 50% of the price of the stock (how would you like to buy DELL, which is trading around 100, for 150??). I did finally get filled today @ 5/8, so I'm happy now.

I'm not calling anyone a loser, since my Internet gambling investment is also underwater (38%).

If Meph acknowledges he's genuinely acting out of frustration, I understand him. Hell, I'm reacting to him out of general frustration myself.

But you still don't see me mudslinging on anyone else's thread.
