IMO a hostile is out of the question due to big stakes held by Intuit and Integrion, not to mention insiders who firmly believe this company will be worth far more in 5 years than it is today.

>>What about a hostile takeover? CKFR is a bargain at 23; a hostile takeover is possible at 13. This stock has to rebound to prevent a takeover (IMHO).

Lo siento. never happen. I don't hold as many as some on this thread, and in fact their probably not worth squat, but it is out of the question....MSFT(am I flattering my self) are you reading...it'll never happen...if it does, EBPP will be a mere footnote in the annals of banking....

You don't have to lurk, there is much for discussion, and nothing is absurd, it can always be food for thought( which some say I do too much), but I'll be god damned if there are major share holders that would be willing to encourage or agree to any takeover....hostility doesn't always work(look at [my favorite] Mellon-tried, but has thus far fallen by the way side)....If MSFT wants to start accumulating shares of CKFR, more power to them....that way they might make a few bucks on this venture.

I think I shall take the advice of those much wiser than me, and retreat for a night. Good luck, and don't be a stranger too much

Wait, wait, in my unconscious consciousness, I just had a spiritual revelation...or something....

A lot of banks and companies will end up with an equity position in CKFR. To be controlled by one or two institutions would be detrimental to acquiring mass support from the banks(MSFDC problem). Also, banks signing contracts with CKFR often put in exit clauses in case of a sale of the company (nobody wants to wake in the morning and find out their competitor is processing their sensitive material).

That should cover that, FWIW, thanks C
