Bloomberg News: U.S. Equity Movers August 12, 1998, 3:33 p.m. ET Petsmart Inc. (PETM) rose as much as 15/16 to 7 3/16 after the pet supplies retailer was raised to ''strong buy'' from ''buy'' by analyst Mitchell Bartlett at Dain Rauscher Wessels, who predicts the stock will reach 11 in 12 months. Bartlett said the company's management has indicated that figures are on track with revised second-quarter earnings per share and same-store sales expectations. He said the company's progressing in its recovery plan with new management, and trends for the third quarter have been positive.
