Yeah, the worse thing happens is we shut down all the computers. You know, we can still live without computers. I can remember living in a world that had no computers at all.

If he really said this, I guess it will be up there with classics like, " I don't see any need for home computer" by the founder of DIgital in 1977 or Watson of IBM saying in 1950s "There is a world wide market for may be Five Computers" .

For an author, techno thriller to boot, the guy lacks imagination. Personally, I have never read any of his books.

Time to start a stock talk for typewriters? I'm glad I haven't thrown mine out. It is hard to find ribbons for them, though.
