thanks wayne!

>>"Looks" like an easy run to $32 1/2, <<

I'm surprised you say this. Remember, right after
earnings report, when you got hit with your
33+ stop sell i think. We had tough 32 resistance.
So you think no more, huh?

>>Even looked like COMS had failed $27 1/2 AGAIN until I guess it was Eric's comments today?<<

Are you talking about yesterday's $27 1/2? That's because
the DOW and Naz started very badly yesterday, but COMS still
climbed up very strongly against the tide of the market in
general.

Don't think Eric B. had any comments yesterday or
today.

Today, he may have flown to NY, and maybe some people
interpreted that as buyout rumour. But he said
"buyout not gonna happen" (george bush immitation).
So why did he go to NY? Maybe for a positive earnings
preannouncement, if there is such a thing?

If you see easy run to $32 1/2, seems like an excellent
short term trade...you gonna give it a try? Personally,
it's a little hard to believe, but if you're right,
then I'd say it's going to 35-40 once we break 32-33...
just a strong hunch. In this case, I'd think that not
only is COMS going to make the quarter (already we know
this), but COMS will have some numbers that are way
better than expected in certain departments...maybe modems
are catching on faster than expected for
this quarter (at laaaaaast).

It is interesting that you mentioned about July 31. On 29th I responded to the "COMS- why is it a short" thread based on a technical reason while it was at 26+ thinking that it would go to 24 and if it did then the indicators would look more favorable for a rebound. Besides, it would form a real double bottom. It looks like that it indeed is the pattern in the making now, doesn't it? However, in case of surprises, no TA can do anything about it. Let's face it, who would have guessed it would go from 32- back to 24- and finish the pattern formation in such a way? (talking about the gloomy Candle stick chart-continuously gapped up to open and closed at a loss!) There is always "uncharted zone" theorists would use to describe what they can't predict.
