Shhh! If the thread catches wind, you'll be maligned for selling away tremendous upside. Why, $115 will be a bargain after next Tuesday, and the shares will be yanked from your hands. The one-week profit of $11.50 (minus commissions) will hardly be enough to overcome the remorse. <g>

re: selling Dell covered calls

if dell misses earnings you might face a large loss.

if they beat substantially, you will wish you didn't cover your upside.

might not be a great move either way.
