criticizing management about the Viagra problems seem rather odd to me.

paul....

odd, yes.
this is no doubt the first cynical post about PFE
that i have ever written...

by way of clarification:
i am not criticizing management about the viagra problem.
rather i am somewhat dismayed by the inaction of management,
first it was a prolonged slew of frivlous lawsuits alone, but now it
is coupled with WSJ among others reports of alleged
new side effects ( vision loss) which remain rebuttable presumptions,
about which management has said nothing.

compound the resulting doubt with the recent market deterioration
and the damage, left to bleed without comment, is significant.

i should think i may not be the only one to wonder about expiry proximity.

[Seems odd]-- You know what's odd. Pfizer is the 9th largest
company in the world based on their market cap and they do not
have an investor relations department. I find THAT odd.

I listened to the analysts meeting Pfizer had about 1 month ago and thought all of these issues were addressed quite sufficiently.

sufficiently for one month ago, perhaps.
