Bob, Nothing anyone can say or do will change the new world order from coming. The prophecies will be fulfilled and I personally rejoice for it is a sign of His return for us. I have not met Jimmy Carter to ask him what he believes about the new world order so I will not comment about his position. However, his fruits demonstrate what the scriptures say so I am more inclined to respect the fact that he has more information on the world condition than we do and as a CHrisitan would be very interesting to talk to about the way things are happening. Remember the men that thought they understood exactly what God was doing and wanted missed the Messiah so you might want to keep an open mind to God and watch. Also, the media may not favor Mr. Carter and we don't even know if they are reporting accurately. Before I judge a brother on what he believes in I would ask him, all I can see is his fruits are a good example of what Christian men should be doing for the Name of our Lord (it is certianly allot better than blowing people up at abortion clinics and being politically intolerant of people that are sinners like they were and are). As far as new age people I am not required by the Lord to determine if they are lost or not I am only required to give them the Good news of the Gospel and if they refuse I am to shake the dust from my feet and move on. He is the only worthy judge of all mankind. My ex-neighbor taught in seminars with SHirley McClain on the New Age movement and used to wipe her forhead when she left my home to rid her of negative spirits and did channeling with candles. After 5 years of loving her and not pressuring her but showing the love I am commanded to (this is my commandement, that you love others as I have loved you) and one night she looked up and said she knew Jesus was for real and from then on she feel in love with Him. If I had hammered her and belittled her she would have written me off as being like all those CHristians that serve a God that does not love and is supportive of the self righteous as she said. She also told me she thought she could never be good enough to be accepted by CHristians. So whatever we see as a problem IMO should be taken to our prayer closet where we can make a difference and what we say to them has to be very controled with the fruits of the SPirit. IMO we should all pray for Jimmy Carter and all Christians to be wise and be in His will. Nancy
