Glennd

sector was hit when GNCI announced they would be cutting prices to compete with the marts of the world. 30% I believe was the number. Lots of opportunities were opened up in the sector for the speculators out there. I am staying away myself.

Glennd, what David writes I fully confirm.I saw an analyst talking about this sector, and point is that the market place has become glutted, fiercely competitive, with profit margins diving---so,it is possible matters could get worse--just like the oils and DDs.Max90

<Is anybody on this thread following Pure World (PURW) anymore. Any opinions?>

Glennd, I've kept an eye on PURW since selling and just took a little deeper look. When we first bought PURW there were no analyst's following the stock and at this time there is one Strong Buy and two analysts offering estimates. Unfortunatly, the forecasts are not very long range. Do you know who the analysts are ? The fundamentals on PURW remain strong.
