REH has already done the work for us. Also, REH's analysis is thorough. He sees RMBS at $400 by 2001 or so. I believe it could go higher if more products and applications utilize RDRAM.

Agrove, >>>"How much money do you (the Rambus bulls) think Rambus
MIGHT POSSIBLY make in summer 2000?"<<<

Is this a Y2K question?

>>>"and the CEO
has come out and said, hey we may get all the intel chipset buisness and half the
DRAM market in a couple of years."<<<

I've heard great things about Rambus, and I think their credibility is beyond question judging by the company they keep (Intel). However, if their CEO said what you say he did, he sounds "high". Get him off to an executive charm school hotel in the California mountains (one in Santa Cruz) with some Intel execs and maybe he can learn some stoicism and humility.

agrove, your statement again >>>"and the CEO
has come out and said, hey we may get all the intel chipset buisness and half the
DRAM market in a couple of years."<<<

This makes it sound like Rambus may get the revenue from all the Intel chipset business and half of the DRAM market. That would mean they'd sell all the chipsets and half the DRAM. That's not how it works with Rambus, does it? Don't they get royalties for all usages of their design by companies that have signed with them? Royalties are a far cry from all or half of the business, the way I think of "the business." Still, my hat's off to these guys for working themselves into one off the best stories I've ever seen in this business. I just need to figure out when to buy some RMBS. I know, doesn't matter, going to $200...
