Stockman,
"CompUSA predicts flat Q. If AMD sales (a large portion of which
is in CompUSA) is flat, Do you think AMD will report only a $20
million loss as required by its creditors?"

Been in your local CompUSA store lately? They are in a state of CHAOS.
On one pile they have a stack of Maxtor 2.7 gig HDs for $199. Not far away a stack of Maxtor 5.7 gigers for $169. Tables of left over or returned discounted items abound. The salesmen acted p*ssed.

Poor pricing, poor inventory control and poor service. Best Buy is kicking their butt...Even radio shack is kicking their but.
Speaking of that, Compaq must BE BACK...tons of them at Office Max, Radio shack and Office Max. They definitely dominate retail space.
