Very interesting Mr. Pink. Was there any talk of the earnings due out Thursday? I bet not. Should be interesting. Usually a press release of some "blockbuster deal" comes out when bad news is imminent. Maybe our boys thought that the road show stop in NYC would suffice. Doesn't sound like it did the trick though. I loved the GKN thug comment. When will these boys learn that you live by the sword, you die by the sword.

last seen John Reed and John Dizard (no relation) were seen rolling around on the floor trying to strangle each other. Reed pulled off Dizard's toupe and Dizard called Reed a criminal and said he should be "driving a garbage barge down the Hudson when he gets out of jail".

Reed, exasperated, nodded at one of the 25 GKN Securities brokers in the room who pulled out a gun and shot Dizard 8 times in the belly.

Amazingly, Dizard quickly penned an article for his Publitzer Prize winning colum in the New York Post to appear this Sunday before passing out. He is reported to be in stable condition.

God bless John Dizard a courageous and intelligent hard-hitting journalist in an industry of wimps. He speaks the truth and is not afraid. A second Pinky Award goes to Mr. Dizard for showing up at the meeting, confronting management both publicly and afterwards in informal discussions.
